Ludwig, for you (2000):
When my son was almost a year old, I composed a song for him, which was to portray his lively and happy temperament as a baby. That’s when I came up with the idea of writing something “minimalist” in a musical context. Thus, a sixteenth note sequence runs through the entire piece in the accompaniment. The melody contains a striking leitmotif throughout the structure. I like to dedicate this work to my son.
